Here are a few of my pictures to use as your desktop wallpaper. If you're not sure how to switch your wallpaper, please read the directions below. These images are provided as 1024x768 which is a pretty standard screen resolution, but they are big enough file sizes (over 170k) that they can stretch a long way without distorting or pixelating.

How to Add/Update Desktop Wallpaper

Windows

Click on the link to the wallpaper you want and let the image load in your web browser. Now, save the image to your hard drive by clicking on it with your right mouse button and selecting the Save Image As or Save Picture As option. Be sure to save it somewhere in the My Images folder (it's just easier to find this way). When the image is saved, right-click anywhere on the desktop that doesn't have icons or open windows and select Properties. When the Properties window opens, select the Desktop tab, and the Browse button. Search for your new desktop image in the My Pictures folder. Make sure you select the Stretch option.

Mac OS

Click on an appropriate wallpaper link and let the image load in your web browser. Now click and hold on the image with your mouse button. When a menu pops up, select the Save Image As or Download Image to Disk option to save the image to your hard drive. If you are running Mac OS X, go to system Preferences and select Desktop. Now use the Select Picture button to select the wallpaper you just downloaded. After you have selected your wallpaper, press the Set Desktop button and close the window. You're done! If you are running System 8.5 to 9.2, go to the Apple menu and select the Appearance Control Panel. Click on the Desktop tab. If you already have wallpaper on your desktop click on the Remove Picture button to remove your old wallpaper. Now use the Select Picture button to select the wallpaper you just downloaded. After you have selected your wallpaper, press the Set Desktop button and close the window. You're done!
